Heavy Mellow Guitar & Voice
Born in Sweden, raised in Germany, and shaped by the American soundscape of the 1960s, Eric Auckerman crafts music for kindred spirits who appreciate fireplaces, a cat in the lap, or an old dog at their feet. He calls his genre “heavy mellow” — a rich blend of folk soul, country spirit, and rock nostalgia.
Raised on Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, Eric’s musical journey expanded to embrace the velvet tones of Nat King Cole, the heart of Bill Withers, and the storytelling edge of artists like The Doors, The Hollies, Bad Company, and Pete Seeger. His influences are vast, and as he says:
“How can I be faithful to one genre without being unfaithful to them all?”
Whether it’s a backyard concert, a cozy café, or a community stage, Eric delivers music rooted in feeling, memory, and connection — always mellow, sometimes heavy, and never without soul.
